We always want to encourage outside play and being active especially in this lovely sunshine, however, it is important to stay safe in the Summer heat with all of those harmful UV rays!

Slip, Slop Slap and Wrap
The best way to avoid being over exposed to the sun whilst bouncing and playing outside is to cover up. Make sure young jumpers are well covered, wearing T-shirts and hats in addition to plenty of sunblock. During peak sun hours 10-4pm make sure time spent jumping is limited to reduce the risk of sunburn.
There is no magic amount of water that kids need to drink every day. Usually, kids like to drink something with meals and should definitely drink when they are thirsty. But when it's warm out or you're exercising, you'll need more. Be sure to drink some extra water when you're out in warm weather, especially while playing sports or exercising. Trampolining uses a lot energy so be sure to provide plenty of cold water to help kids cool down and avoid overheating.
Have Fun with Water
Cool down quickly by involving water with jumping. Pick up a Jumpflex Aqua jet and have that spraying water on the trampoline while the kids bounce or alternatively use a hose to create fun water games. Spraying down the jumping surface with cold water can also help reduce the temperature of the mat if it has become too hot during the day.
